PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This In-The-Wall Dryer Vent Periscope is designed to fit between the studs inside the wall of your laundry room to carry the exhaust air into the attic or floor space. It features one male snap-lock fitting and one female snap-lock collar and mounting strap; (2) clamps are also included. This accessory is designed to be used with many major dryer brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this accessory. FROM THE MANUFACTURER This item is designed to fit between the studs inside the wall. It does a great job of carrying the exhaust air through the top plate and into attic/floor space. You should use the 4" aluminum vent to complete the run to the outside. This dryer vent rough-in system has (3) 2-1/2" clearance telescoping sections that extend from 29" to 77". It also has one male snap-lock fitting, one female snap-lock collar and mounting strap, as well as all-metal rigid construction that meets most in-wall codes.
