Just apply our repair kit to save your time, money and effort. Don't make yourself in trouble. Directions for Use Step 1 — Prepare. Wiping the area round the hole or crack with dry tissue or towels. Step 2 — Measurement. Measuring the size of hole or crack on siding. Step 3 — Clipping. Cut the thin repair patch based on the hole size. Step 4 — Covering. Peel the backing paper and apply to siding, pressing patch from one side to the other in case of bubbles and you will see the woodgrain pattern will appear. Step 5 — Painting. Paint to conform to the existing siding color. More coats are recommended. Why not use general tape to repair? Genaral tape is not to stretch, insufficient strength, and fragile to high temperature.
