Hold the floss firmly between the thumb and index finger of each hand. Gently slide the floss between the teeth, using a slow sawing motion to slide between the clenched teeth. Move the floss up and down against the tooth to clean both above and below the gum line, curving the floss around the tooth for best results. Repeat the cleaning procedure for each tooth.
