This cajon comes with three sets of internal fixed snare wires to give your sound a crisp pop. They're the same type used on snare drums and are positioned for a sensitive touch. The beautiful hardwood playing surface responds to soft dynamics and packs a punch at louder volumes; the sturdy modern composite body resonates with full projection and warm tone. The port is permanently secured to get the biggest bass sound. It doesn't get in the way of microphones and won't require any adjustments. The Meinl Jumbo Backbeat cajon measures 13" W x 21 1/4" H x 13" D and weighs 12.2 lbs. It's considered a jumbo size, and is larger than our traditional cajons for deeper bass. You can play it alongside guitars at acoustic shows, with worship music, in the studio, or at outdoor jams.
