It also removes up to 95-percent of chlorine, chemicals, taste, and odors. This filter has a typical lifecycle of 100,000 gallons (or 1 year). It measures 20 x 4-1/2 inches, and it has a 1-inch center hole. This filter is not designed to treat microbially unsafe or non-potable water without adequate disinfection before and after unit.
