Made from acid-resistant polypropylene, the box is impact-tested from -20°F to +120°F for dependable performance in extreme conditions. The vented lid design includes four cable openings and upward-facing vents to safely release battery gases while minimizing water intrusion. A heavy-duty hold-down strap rated to withstand 350 lbs. of force ensures secure installation—nearly four times the U.S. Coast Guard requirement.
