PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Large Sump Replacement Water Filter Drop-in Cartridge AP810-2 is a standard 4.5" diameter drop-in cartridge that is manufacturer tested and verified to reduce sediment down to 5 micron nominal for cleaner drinking water. Rigid polypropylene fiber construction, which helps capture and retain sediment from your water and prevent particle release that can result from system flow upsets. The grooved surface increases total surface area for longer cartridge life as compared to 3M non-grooved surface cartridges. With these features, the AP810 is a great choice in water filtration and is ideal for larger homes with at least 2.5 bathrooms. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance including replacement of the cartridge every 6 months or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs is required. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality. FROM THE MANUFACTURER The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP810-2 helps to reduce sediment particles as small as 5 microns in size, as well as rust, providing clearer water for drinking, bathing, laundry, and other household uses. 3M’s exclusive Micro-KleanTM XL progressive porosity technology forces water through pores that become increasingly tighter, filtering smaller and smaller microscopic particles. The unique process allows the cartridge to effectively reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate. The cartridge lasts up to six months before replacement. The cartridge is manufactured by 3M Purification Inc. (3MPITM), formerly CUNO Incorporated. It has a flow rate of up to 45 gallons/170 liters per minute. It operates at temperatures from 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C) and water pressures from 25-100psi (172-690 kPa). It is for use with whole-house water filtration systems AP802 and AP802-1.5C. The cartridge should be replaced every six months, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs. It is for use with Aqua-Pure AP802 and Aqua-Pure AP802-1.5C Water Filter Systems.
